LCN Hardware View

LCN Hardware View

Stats View tab

Select this tab to view hardware/software statistics for the configuration project that includes template summary usage, hardware usage, etc.

Click this tab within the Stats View to view usage and summaries of configuration templates and hardware.

Click this tab to view the Honeywell LCN Network view of their legacy Control System.

Chart Layout button

Click this button to layout the chart diagram in a different tree style.

Refresh Chart button

5. Refresh Chart button
Click this button to refresh and redraw the chart diagram.  If a user moves around the contents within the diagram they can click this button to redraw the network layout.

Export Chart button

Click this button to export the Chart diagram to either a PNG or BMP graphic file.

Print Chart button

Click this button to print the Chart diagram to a print device.

LCN Network Node

8. LCN Network Node
This LCN node represents the root or the actual LCN Network itself.  Hover your mouse over this node shape to access a drop-down button that when clicked will show additional detail information associated with the LCN network.
 
Users must export 2 reports from the LCN Native window to auto-generate this LCN Network diagram.  These 2 report files are then imported into Control Architect to auto-generate this diagram.
  • The LVRLOG.RE report
  • The NCF.XX report
 
Clicking the Details button will display the configuration details for the Honeywell LCN Network.

NIM/HG Gateway nodes

Clicking the Details button will display the configuration details for the NIM or HG LCN nodes.

UCN HPM Hardware node

Clicking the Details button will display the configuration details for the LCN xPM type nodes.

Options pane

Click this button to expand/collapse the Options view.
 
These options allow you to provide some input as to how shapes are laid out.

Find pane

Click this button to expand/collapse the Find view.
 
This view allows you to navigate the LCN node structure from a Tree like view selection or searching in a drop-down box.

Search pane

Click this button to expand/collapse the Search view.
 
This view allows you to search and filter the detail data of the shape nodes for particulate details.  This expression view support user expressions to filter the data view.
 
Users must choose between searching in LCN, UCN, or HWY type data nodes to initiate a search.

Details drop-down button

14. Details drop-down button
Each node shape when hovered with the mouse will display this Details drop-down button.  When clicked it will show the respective configuration for this hardware node that this shape represents.
