The PLC Binding View context menu has two commands that remove PLC Assets. Both ask for confirmation and cannot be undone.

Deletes the PLC Asset's Control Module configuration and Asset Model data from this Collection Snapshot. The PLC Asset stays available to other collections it is bound to.
Delete Asset Permanently...
All collections
Removes the PLC Asset from every bound Collection Snapshot and deletes its underlying files from the database.
Unbinding a PLC Asset
1. Select one or more PLC Assets in the PLC Binding View.
2. Right-click and choose Unbind from this Collection.
3. Read the confirmation and click Yes to continue, or No to cancel.
Warning Unbinding permanently deletes the PLC Asset's Control Module configuration and Asset Model data from this Collection Snapshot.
Deleting a PLC Asset Permanently
1. Select one or more PLC Assets in the PLC Binding View.
2. Right-click and choose Delete Asset Permanently....
3. Read the confirmation and click Yes to continue, or No to cancel.
Danger Permanent deletion removes the PLC Asset from all Collection Snapshots and deletes its files. If you only want to remove it from the current collection, use Unbind from this Collection.
Results
Each affected PLC Asset is recorded in the Model References timeline as Unbound or Deleted Permanently.
If some unbinds fail, a message reports Unable to unbind N of the M selected PLC Asset(s) from this Collection.
If some deletes fail, a message lists the errors returned for each failed PLC Asset.
