Saving Changes and Window Layout
What Is Saved
The following edits mark the Manifest as modified and are saved when you close the window:
PLC Asset binding commands are not part of this save; they are written to the database and the Manifest timeline immediately when they run.
Closing the Window
If there are unsaved changes, you are prompted to save them:

Keeps the window open so you can continue editing.

After a successful save, the project's entry in the Most Recently Used list is updated with the new description.

Use Custom Action is checked but Custom Menu item name is empty.

Enter a Custom Menu item name and close again.

The Manifest could not be updated (for example because of a concurrent update).

The error is shown in the status bar. Close and reopen the Manifest, then retry.

Window Layout
The following are remembered between sessions:

Window position and size (restored on screen if the previous location is no longer visible).

Docking layout and size of the PLC Binding View tool window.
