Import as CDA Peer: option

5. Import as CDA Peer: option
Choose this option to import configuration data that represents FSC Controllers that are configured for CDA integration into a C300 Process controller.

If your FSC Controllers are communicating with your C300 through Modbus configuration such as Scada and PCDI, then do not choose this option.  Additional data is required to resolve Modbus connected FSC controllers such as IP addresses and the Logical View document that defines the PCDI Device address.

Selected Logical View PDF Document

6. Selected Logical View PDF Document
Click the Browse button to specify the Logical View PDF Document.

This document provides the necessary PCDI communications binding between the FSC Controller and the DCS C300 Controller along with its configured PCDI Device ID.  This data is used to resolve the PCDI Modbus addresses used to communicate with the FSC Controller Application FLD logic.

FSC File Mapping View columns

10. FSC File Mapping View columns
  • Enable - Check this column for each item that is to be imported and resolved.  If the IP Address used for the Modbus communications is not provided, then you cannot enable the item.
  • EE - the execution environment value read from the FSC FLD Properties Excel export file
  • FSC Point Export - the excel export file that contains the FSC FLD point data { FLD blocks }
  • FSC FLD Properties Export - the excel export file that contains the FSC FLD properties data { FLD definition, ParentAsset, etc. }
  • FSC FLD PDF Print - the printed FSC Controller Application FLD logic drawings
  • IP Address - the Modbus IP Address that is used to communicate between the FSC Controller and the PKS Scada Controllers.  This address is parsed from the "Collection of Devices & SM Controllers" PDF document.  If the IP address fails to be parsed, then the user must manually provide this IP address.

FSC Excel Export File Mapping: list

11. FSC Excel Export File Mapping: list
Displays the current FSC Excel export file mapping.

When the user maps the FSC FLD Properties Export file, the CEE assigned value is parsed from the Excel file and displayed as the EE value for the mapping.

Clicking in a row in the DataGrid will expose a File Browse button that can be clicked to select the appropriate Excel/PDF export file.

12

Auto-Map: option

12. Auto-Map: option
Choose this option to allow auto-mapping of your FSC exported configuration documents.

This auto-map function depends on the selected root folder path.  All subfolders to this root folder path are auto-browsed to discover any exported Excel property documents and a single printed Application FLD PDF documents.  The naming of these 3 exported/printed documents must be similar as shown where for example the FSC Controller ECUR1BMSC2 would contain an Excel point export document named ECUR1BMSC2.xls, an Excel FLD Properties  export document named ECUR1BMSC2_FLDProperties.xls, and an Application FLD PDF printed document named ECUR1BMSC2.pdf.

When exporting the Excel documents from the Honeywell Safety Builder application, these will become the default names that are chosen.  The application FLD program logic print to PDF will require you to provide the exact same name as the FSC Controller with the pdf extension.  Failure to follow this naming schema will prevent the auto-map function from properly locating and mapping these documents.

13. Auto-Map: button
Click this button to execute the Auto-Map function.

If existing FSC Controller mappings exist, you will be prompted to clear these existing items.  If you choose Yes, then existing items will be cleared and new mappings will be added.  If you choose No, then only new mappings that were discovered will be added to this list.
