Export Reserved I/O to Excel
The Export Reserved I/O status to Excel... command reads all IOSparesDb.ModuleIO channel records and writes them to two Excel workbooks - one scoped to the current plant unit and one covering the whole plant. The export captures every channel that has a reservation record, regardless of its current status, making it suitable for project progress reviews and handover documentation.

How to Export
1. Load a hardware community in the PKS Hardware View.
2. Click Export Reserved I/O status to Excel... in the Export ribbon group (key tip: EX).
3. A Save File dialog opens. Choose a base file path and name (without an extension).
4. The application appends _PlantUnit.xlsx and _WholePlant.xlsx automatically and writes both workbooks to the chosen folder.
5. A confirmation message is displayed when the export completes.
Note The Export Reserved I/O status to Excel button is grayed out until a hardware community has been loaded. This is because the plant unit scope (Workbook A) requires the list of controller IDs from the active community to filter correctly.

Workbook A - Plant Unit
Contains one row per channel record that belongs to a controller in the currently loaded hardware community. Use this workbook for project-specific reviews and to share with site engineers who are responsible for this plant unit.

Workbook B - Whole Plant
Contains one row per channel record across all controllers in IOSparesDb, regardless of which community is loaded. Use this workbook for plant-wide spare inventory audits and management reporting.

Columns
Both workbooks contain identical columns:
